Ysra Knowledge
Ask with your company’s context. Act with its permission.
Search the sources you connect and select. Follow the citations. Carry the answer into action — only after you approve the exact change.
What did we decide about the enterprise launch, and which Jira work is still open?
- ✓Searched for “enterprise launch decision” in Slack · #launch, #product
- ✓Checked connected integration · Jira LAUNCH
The launch moved to 14 October so SSO can ship with it. One launch blocker is still open and has no owner: SSO metadata upload.

✓ Approved. In the product, this exact issue is created in Jira — Open in Jira appears here.
Rejected. Nothing was sent to Jira.
Add SSO metadata upload for enterprise workspaces (admins upload IdP XML; validate and store per workspace). Required for the 14 Oct launch.
Evidence carried: [1] #launch decision · [2] LAUNCH-212
In the product, this opens a Build session with this brief and both citations attached. Nothing starts without a budget you set.
Every weekday until 14 Oct, check LAUNCH blockers and brief me on anything unowned.

Chat naturally. When company context is relevant, Ysra searches the selected permission-checked sources and cites them.
Illustrative simulation. Click a citation, then try an action — every external write stops for approval. Company, people, and issues are fictional.
How answers are made
A conversation first. A search engine only when needed.
- 01
Natural chat first
Greetings, ordinary questions, corrections, and follow-ups stay in one conversation. Ysra answers from general knowledge when company facts aren’t needed — and says so.
- 02
Retrieval when it matters
When the question calls for company context, Ysra searches the Slack and Jira sources you connected and selected.
- 03
Current public facts
For things that change, Ysra can search the web, fetch the pages, and cite what it actually read.
- 04
Citations you can open
Inline citation pills and a source panel: provider, title, excerpt, link, and when it was retrieved.
- 05
A conversation that persists
The selected sources, turns, cited evidence, and proposed actions survive reloads. Come back tomorrow and continue.
- 06
Retrieved content is evidence, not instructions
Whatever a message or page says, Ysra treats it as material to cite — never as a command to follow.
Sources
Search the sources you connect and select.
Knowledge is deliberately scoped. Connections are owner-controlled, and each conversation searches only what was selected for it.

From answer to action
An answer is often the start of the work.
Three handoffs keep the evidence attached. The external ones stop at an exact proposal until a person approves it.
Exact action
Prepare a Slack message or a Jira change
Create an issue, add a comment, update or move an issue, or send a message. You see the exact payload. Approve exact action, edit it, or reject it.

Turn a cited answer into repository work
The answer becomes a Developer brief with its citations, so the engineering session starts from the evidence rather than from memory.
AvailableCreate automation draft
Turn a one-off answer into recurring work
Draft a manager that keeps checking the same thing on a schedule, with the same sources and an approval gate.
AvailableRules & instructions
Separate from conversations, on purpose.
Knowledge conversations answer questions. Rules & instructions are something else: durable guidance — conventions, constraints, how your team works — that Ysra loads into engineering work.
Rules are versioned and keep a usage history, so you can trace which guidance shaped which task. They live in the Workspace next to Playbooks, Projects, and Integrations.
The honest boundary
Ysra Knowledge searches the Slack and Jira sources you select and the public web. It is not a company-wide search index across every app you own — and it doesn’t pretend to be.
Ask the question. Keep the receipts.
Connect Slack and Jira, choose the sources, and see every claim traced back to where it came from.
